Get your Glow On! Lightning Banquet 2026

May. 12, 2026

As we wrap up our 9th season, and head into our 10th year as the Collingwood Girls Hockey association, we reflect on just how far we’ve come. With 30 players and 2 teams to 392 players and 21 teams, as well as our Fundamentals and First Shift Program!

We wish to thank the hockey community and all of our Lightning Volunteers, Executive, Coaches, Bench Staff, Den Mothers, Parents, Sponsors AND especially our Lightning players for making this season a success.

These individuals generously give their time and energy to support the growth of girls hockey, without having a child on the team. Their leadership, dedication, and commitment to our players help create a positive, supportive environment and play a meaningful role in the development of our athletes both on and off the ice. We sincerely thank you for your contributions.

We would also like to give a special shoutout of THANKS to a few people…

Head Competitive Manager - Natalia Gillespie for being a sounding board and helping managers navigate their role.

Thomas Truong, for his effort and dedication in the creation of our annual banquet photo slideshows.

Devon Baldry, for her endless time and effort creating the amazing presentation slideshow. AS well as her work with the awards committee AND our Thundersnow Tournament!

Sarah Anderson-Littlejohns, for months of planning to make our banquet look amazing!
